Mr. Prielipp is an Associate of Causey Engineering LLC. Causey Engineering has for over 18 years been providing forensic and investigative engineering services and litigation support, specializing in industrial and construction operational and safety issues. Mr. Prielipp has extensive domestic and international forestry and lumber industry experience.

Work Experience:
Private Consultant, Redding CA 1998 to Present
Consultant: Provide operational, troubleshooting, and business development expertise to forestry and lumber firms in Midwest, Gulf Coast, and Northwest regions. Handle claims and complaints on a case-by-case basis. Also provide Forensic investigative work related to the same industries as an Associate of Causey Engineering.
P & M Cedar Products, Stockton, CA 1979 – 1998
Manager of Technical Services: Managed the start-up of a sawmill and a planning mill in McCloud, CA. Coordinated all lumber operations of five sawmills, fifteen kilns, and one planning mill. Developed new products and successfully increased the cedar business, including interior and exterior siding, closet lining, veneer, lumber, pencil stock, oil extraction, and chop sticks. Served as the troubleshooter of problems within the firm, as well as handling customer complaints.
Roseburg Lumber, Dillard, OR 1979 – 1982
Manager of California Operations: Managed the timber and lumber operations in California. Produced 150MM Board Feet annually of dimension, board, shop and molding grades. Species included Ponderosa pine, Douglas fir, Hem fir, Cedar, and Sugar pine.
Kimberly Clark, Dallas TX 1950 – 1979
Forest Pathologist in U. P. of Michigan: Managed the protection and experimental forestry for 400,000 acres of timberland.
Pulp Mill Supervisor: Managed pilot pulp mill in Munising, MI.
Shift Supervisor: Participated in the start-up of a Greenfield pulp and paper mill in Anderson, CA, and then assumed a shift responsibility for the whole operation.
Lumber Operations: Held several operational positions in Anderson CA, including Dry Kiln Supervisor, Manager of Sawmills (3), Dry Lumber Superintendent (kilns, planning mill, warehouse and shipping). Provided expertise for K-C’s Gulf Coast facilities.
Lumber Business Manager: In charge of all the operations described above, plus sales and marketing. Produced 150MM Board Feet annually of dimension, board, shop, molding and pencil stock grades. Species included Ponderosa pine, Douglas fir, Hem fir, Cedar, and Sugar pine. Consulted on Gulf Coast timberland business initiatives.
Special Assignment: Managed the start-up of a lumber complex in Australia for Kimberly Clark.
General Manager of CA Operations: In charge of 325 acres of timberland, sale and procurement of timber, logging, lumber manufacturing, and sales of 150 MM Board Feet of lumber as described above. Participated in Midwest and Gulf Coast lumber operational strategies.
