Mr. Davis is an associate of Causey Engineering LLC. Causey Engineering has for over 18 years been providing forensic and investigative engineering services and litigation support, specializing in industrial and construction regulations and safety issues. Mr. Davis has extensive expertise in the Natural Gas Industry. His experience includes natural gas processing, treatment, safety, environmental and regulatory issues.

$100M Bethel Gas Treating Facility (H2S and CO2 Removal), completed contract negotiations, project management of all functions related to engineering, environmental, safety, business development, and regulatory including serving as the corporate representative at public meetings and regulatory public hearings. Experience Summary
With over 27 years of diversified natural gas experience, Gary is known for his technical expertise and industry leadership. His extensive background in the design, construction and operation of sour gas and CO2 removal facilities includes gathering, treating and sulfur recovery systems, including installation of the first Sulfreen tail gas unit in the United States. He is well versed in industry-related safety and environmental regulations and practices, including OSHA, DOT, EPA, ANSI B31.3 and ANSI B31.8.
Gary’s career spans management of projects up to a $100 million in capital expenditures with over 300 personnel and he has extensive experience in all project functions including:
His extensive experience is sought after throughout industry. Gary is a respected expert witness and public speaker, and is the holder of two industry-related patents.
Gary founded Kahuna Ventures LLC in 1999, a natural gas processing, treating and project-consulting firm. Kahuna Ventures currently employees 6 engineers and 2 field construction managers. Its subsidiary, Kahuna Gas, LLC also founded in 1999, completed a design, build, own and operate project in Wayne County Mississippi during 2000. The facility was designed to treat 25 MMSCFD of sour gas containing 20% H2S and 2.5% CO2. Kahuna Gas operated the facility until July, 2004 when it was sold.
Previously, Gary served as Corporate Officer for Western Gas Resources, Inc. for over 14 years. His tenure included serving as:

Successfully led end-to-end business operations for the Southern Region for Western Gas, which provided half of the company’s revenues. Responsibilities included operations, business development, engineering, and all regulatory functions. (’93-’96)
Helped grow this 50-employee concern into a major independent GPM company with 950+ employees and gross income in excess of $1 billion. He managed annual budgets in excess of $50 million.
Gary joined Western Gas Resources as the first company engineer, serving in all engineering capacities and was promoted to executive level within five years.
Gary started his career as a Plant Engineer at Marathon Oil Company.
