Work Experience:
Causey Engineering LLC, Austin, TX 2001-Present
Forensic Expert: Provide Forensic Engineering and investigative work primarily in food related cases. Causey Engineering LLC provides engineering and operations analysis, governmental regulation investigation and interpretation, accident reconstruction and litigation support primarily related to food manufacturing, material handling, pulp and paper mills, lumber manufacturing, chemical plants, central power stations, gas and oil production, refineries, railroads, construction, and warehousing. The time gap between the two positions was for mothering two sons.
Kraft Foods, Houston, TX 1987 - 1999
Began as project engineer in instant coffee and utilities. Projects included design and installation of heat exchangers, bulk handling system, HVAC, and cooling tower rebuild. Familiar with spray drying and agglomerating.
Performed process engineering work for Minute Rice. Experience includes steamers and drying.
Supervised production and maintenance for Minute Rice, instant coffee process and packaging, and decaffeination. Familiar with dry goods packing line, rigid packaging.
